Happy new year everyone!

Here’s a happy little blob of an octopus. Been playing with the idea of doing blind contour drawings to kickstart the octopus creation process – I’m finding that the curves I draw when I’m not looking at the page are often more fluid and lovely than the ones I draw normally. (This one had plenty of lines added after the initial contour drawing of course.) Going to expand on this idea more – curious to see how it’ll work once I add paint.
