Finally getting to try out an idea I’ve had for a while – depicting overlapping frames of octopus movement in a single image, then incorporating this ‘lasquarelle’ technique – lasercutting the drawing onto watercolor paper, then going over it with watercolor paint. This is just a preliminary test piece but I think it has a lot of fun potential.
